Dr. Meagan Barrett rejoined Clappison Animal Hospital in January 2022 and has been a wonderful addition to our team. Dr. Barrett graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015. After trying her hand at mixed animal practice, she realized her love for small animal medicine and has been working exclusively in this field ever since with a special interest in canine behaviour.
At home, Dr. Barrett has a furry family of three. She has a cat named Odie who is missing his right eye! Her Westie, Oliver, is the mature one of the group, well-behaved and dignified. Aloe, Dr. Barrett’s Dalmatian, rounds out the group with her crazy antics and a lot of energy.
In her free time, Dr. Barrett enjoys teaching Aloe some manners and lots of tricks and finding new places to explore with her pups. She also has quite the green thumb and enjoys taking good care of her various plants. And when we are able to, she says she will be the first person booking a flight to get some travelling in.
