X-ray

A non-invasive diagnostic tool used to identify internal issues and provide targeted medical care.

X-rays are a vital diagnostic tool for our veterinarians to see what is potentially problematic inside your dog’s body. We have on-site x-ray equipment, allowing our medical team to take radiographs right away so that we can give you answers about your pet’s health. We have results almost immediately for you, so you can discuss the next best treatment plan option for your pet’s continued care.

How do you prepare your dog for their x-ray appointment?

Often x-rays are done on the spot. You really cannot prepare for those moments when a slip or fall is going to happen and your dog needs an x-ray.

If your pet is needing an x-ray and sedation is required for it, then our veterinarians will discuss with you the procedures to take so that your pet has a positive experience.

How much does a dog x-ray cost?

Radiographs can vary in cost, depending on the view the veterinarian is asking for. If your dog is needing an x-ray, we will give you an accurate estimate for you to review before we proceed.
