Here at Clappison Animal Hospital we have had the pleasure of working with Animal Adoptions of Flamborough for over 15 years. We have helped many cats and a few dogs find there forever homes.
Animal Adoptions is a non-profit organization. As well as a no kill shelter that relies deeply on donations and are always looking for fosters. The hardest cats to adopt are the black cats because of people’s superstitions. “ I for one have had the privilege of raising 8 kittens two of them being black cats and have found that there personalities were amazing that had landed the male his forever home and still waiting the female her forever home. Caring for these kittens I have noticed that each kitten has that certain something about them that makes them unique and a face that you can fall in love with so easily” says one of the technicians who has fostered a mom and 8 kittens on behalf of Animal Adoptions of Flamborough.
Another great thing Animal Adoptions of Flamborough is an educational program that teaches children how to care for pet’s that is offered free to all schools. TLC goes a long way to these precious animals as they look for the family and home they can call theirs. Any donations made to Animal Adoptions of Flamborough it goes straight to the cats needs ie food, medication etc. To get more information on how to go about becoming a foster, volunteer or even adopting a furry friend you can visit their website: www.anadoptflam.com
